At Pathway to Purpose (PtP), we believe in second chances and brighter futures.
Our mission is to educate at-risk youth and empower justice-involved individuals with the tools, mentorship, and opportunities they need to be successful in their lives. We are passionate about successfully reintegrating the recently incarcerated as they transition into their communities and build meaningful, purpose-driven lives.
Through outreach, personalized support, education, job training, and mental health resources, we help individuals overcome barriers, break cycles, and step confidently into their next chapter.

Fredrick Thompson
Fredrick Thompson knows firsthand the challenges of transitioning from incarceration to a new life. His journey from adversity to leadership fuels his passion for making a lasting impact. As CEO, he is dedicated to empowering individuals in DeSoto, TX, and across Texas and Louisiana through programs that support reentry, crime prevention, and community transformation. With a commitment to second chances, Fredrick leads with compassion and a vision to create safer, stronger communities.
Programming that Changes Lives
Outreach & Education
The Outreach & Education program promotes crime prevention by engaging young people in schools, juvenile justice programs, and youth centers across East Texas and Louisiana through education, mentorship, and community support.
Reentry Program
The Reentry Program supports formerly incarcerated adults and justice-involved youth as they re-enter society, providing mentorship, job readiness, and essential resources for successful community reintegration.
Transitional Housing
The Transitional Housing program is the heart of the Reentry program, providing safe, supportive housing for individuals rebuilding their lives, offering resources and guidance to foster stability, independence, and successful community reintegration.
